Lights, Camera, Action !

We were very excited when Sky’s Production Company contacted us after hearing, through the grapevine, about our traditional oak framed buildings. The Producer explained that they wanted to feature one of our buildings they had heard about for their new programme and that their host Amanda Lamb was to explain the flexibility and beauty of using a traditional construction made from oak.

Needless to say we jumped at the chance to appear on TV and show off some of the designs we have developed over the years. The next task was finding a client brave enough to appear on camera, so we set about ringing around the jobs we had been commissioned to do during the year to see if anyone was interested in giving up an afternoon and having a film crew around their property.

We were delighted at the warm response and set about organising the ideal project for the television company. On the day we all had terrific fun filming and retaking a few interviews when words got tangled. We are in talks with the production company about future projects they have expressed an interest in, so please do watch this space.
