Do I need planning permission for an oak garage with room above?

How long does it take to build an oak garage with room above?
Timeframes vary based on size, design complexity and planning requirements. If the project is fully managed by our team, then typically the planning stage may take 12 weeks. On site the construction phase would typically take 8 to 10 weeks for a medium sized building. Our build progresses quickly due to the precision-crafted frame and efficient installation methods used by our team.
Does a room above garage increase property value?
A well-designed and well-built oak garage with accommodation above can add notable value to your property. This was independent testing when we featured on an ITV build show. Generally, an outbuilding that is well designed and built, with heated space returns significant value back into the increase of the property’s market value.
